Manchester City secures two major January signings: Abdukodir Khusanov and Omar Marmoush will join in deals worth €130 million to bolster Guardiola's squad.
Manchester City has agreed on two major signings for the January transfer window. Abdukodir Khusanov, a 20-year-old defender from Lens, will join the club for €50 million, while Omar Marmoush, a 25-year-old Egyptian forward from Eintracht Frankfurt, will arrive in a deal valued at €80 million.
Khusanov, who has reportedly already agreed on personal terms with the Citizens, is considered one of the brightest young defensive talents this season. His performances also attracted interest from Real Madrid, but Manchester City seems to have secured the deal, with final confirmation expected soon.
At the same time, Pep Guardiola aims to revamp his squad during the winter transfer window after a challenging season. Marmoush, a prolific forward, is also set to join the club once an agreement between the two sides is finalized.
According to prominent German journalist Florian Plettenberg, Marmoush has agreed on personal terms and is ready to move to Manchester City immediately. This season, Marmoush has delivered outstanding performances in the Bundesliga, scoring 18 goals and providing 11 assists.
Meanwhile, Khusanov, also a regular for Uzbekistan's national team, has emerged as one of the standout defenders this season, offering significant long-term potential for Guardiola's side.
