During the international break, Hajduk's first team welcomed a young addition to their training sessions – 15-year-old Bruno Durdov.
This left-footed youngster, currently a second-year high school student, was born in Split in December 2007. Presently, he plays as a right winger for Hajduk's cadet team.
Durdov leads the scoring charts in the 1st Football League for cadets, having netted eight goals in 11 matches. His contributions have helped place Hajduk currently third in the league standings, trailing six points behind the leaders, Dinamo.
Originating from GOŠK in Kaštel Gomilica, the same club where Marko Livaja once played, as well as other former Hajduk players and Croatian national team members like Mario Pašalić and Antonio Milić, Durdov has been making a name for himself.
He joined the Luka Kaliterna academy in 2015. Since then, Durdov has racked up 124 official appearances across various Hajduk selections, scoring 50 goals. He recently signed a scholarship contract with the club, binding him to Hajduk until the summer of 2026.
Last year, he played for Croatia's U-15 national team, and recently he has been part of the U-17 squad. In early November, he participated in the first round of qualifiers for the U-17 European Championship, appearing in all three matches, starting twice, and scoring one goal.
