Despite helping England secure a 3-0 win, the backlash prompted teammate Harry Kane to defend him: “He doesn’t deserve that reception.”
3. Lionel Messi (Paris Saint-Germain)
Even Lionel Messi, widely regarded as one of the greatest players ever, wasn’t spared by PSG fans. After their team’s Champions League collapse against Real Madrid in 2022, Messi and teammate Neymar were booed during a Ligue 1 match against Bordeaux.
