AC Milan continues their search for a reliable striker since Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with Fiorentina forward Moise Kean emerging as a potential transfer target.
AC Milan continue their search for a true attacking leader, something the club has struggled to find since the era of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Several high-profile strikers arrived at San Siro in recent years, yet few delivered the impact the club expected. Now a new name has entered the conversation: Moise Kean.
The Fiorentina forward has recorded nine goals and four assists this season and has attracted attention across Serie A. Reports in Italy link the former Juventus and Everton striker with a potential move to Milan.
Fiorentina still fights to avoid relegation to Serie B. If the club faces the worst outcome, several players from the squad will likely become transfer targets, and Kean stands among the most valuable.
The striker situation at AC Milan remains far from convincing. Current forwards Nicklas Fullkrug, Santiago Gimenez, and Christopher Nkunku have combined for only eight goals this season.
Ironically, that total stands below Kean’s individual output, even though Milan currently sit near the top of Serie A, behind only Inter.
The club has experimented with many attacking options in recent seasons. Olivier Giroud, Divock Origi, Alvaro Morata, Tammy Abraham, Luka Jovic, and Lorenzo Colombo all received opportunities.
Among them, Giroud delivered the most consistent contribution with 49 goals in 132 matches, yet even he never fully replaced the presence and dominance of Ibrahimovic.
With ten rounds remaining in the Serie A season, Milan sit seven points behind Inter. The question remains clear: would the gap look smaller today with a truly decisive striker leading the attack?
