Arsenal fans have praised the club’s new 2024/25 Adidas home kit but say it's time for the Gunners to back it up with silverware after another trophyless campaign.
Arsenal have officially launched their 2024/25 Adidas home kit, and while fans are loving the sleek design, many are sending a clear message: “Now win trophies.”
The new strip sticks to tradition with a red torso and white sleeves, but adds a subtle twist—an embossed ‘A’ throughout the fabric, inspired by the club’s classic ‘Victoria Concordia Crescit’ crest from the 1949/50 season. This design also nods to the beloved 1990/91 home kit, making it both fresh and nostalgic.
Initial reactions online have been overwhelmingly positive. One supporter posted: “The fastest I’ve ever ordered an Arsenal home shirt. Absolutely love it!” Another added: “Best Arsenal kit I’ve seen in a while. Only the black 22/23 away kit comes close. Love it.”
But beyond the aesthetics, many fans were quick to urge the team to deliver on the pitch. “Now win trophies,” one fan demanded. Another echoed the sentiment: “Let’s make sure this kit is remembered for silverware.”
Myles Lewis-Skelly, a rising star from the Arsenal academy, also praised the new kit: “It looks fresh. I’m excited to wear this in front of our incredible supporters.” Club captain Kim Little added: “Supporters are at the heart of everything we do, and this kit connects deeply to that. They carry us forward.”
Fans will see the new design in action for the first time this weekend when Arsenal host Newcastle in their final Premier League home match. Mikel Arteta’s side will close out the season away at Southampton, likely in their current away kit.
