French international Adrien Rabiot has found himself in an uncomfortable position once again, as the season has already begun, and he still doesn’t have a new club.

Rabiot entrusted his career to his mother Veronique, who has a history of burning bridges with her demands.

Rabiot’s mother previously pulled him out of the arms of Paris Saint-Germain, moving him to Juventus, with the transfer being purely financially motivated, as the Italian club was willing to pay the highest signing bonus and offer the best contract at the time.

This summer, Juventus found themselves on the other side, as Veronique Rabiot’s demands were so high that the 29-year-old left the club as a free agent at the end of June. Two months later, he is still without a club, despite playing in the summer's European Championship and being a player many European giants would like to have.

As a result, Rabiot has lost his place in the national team, and French media report that he has his mother to thank for this situation. In every negotiation, she reportedly demands such a high salary that talks never progress to more advanced stages.

Juventus was prepared to pay Rabiot €7 million per season at the end of his contract, but Veronique Rabiot demanded a significantly higher salary, leading Juventus to accept his departure.
