Al Nasr are eyeing Vladan Milojević as a managerial target, but Crvena zvezda are unlikely to release the double-winning coach under contract until 2026.
Vladan Milojević, the man behind Crvena zvezda’s domestic double, has reportedly attracted interest from Al Nasr of the United Arab Emirates, according to Arab media reports.
The Serbian coach, who recently returned to Red Star and led the club to both the league title and national cup, is among the names being considered to replace Alfred Schreuder, the Dutch manager who recently left the Dubai-based club.
Milojević is not the only candidate. The list of potential replacements also includes Gennaro Gattuso, Matías Almeyda (currently at AEK Athens), and even Miloš Milojević, Vladan’s namesake and former Zvezda coach, who recently parted ways with Al Wasl, also based in the UAE.
While Milojević’s past experience in Saudi Arabia (with Al Ahli and Al Ettifaq) might make him an appealing option for clubs in the Gulf, a move at this stage seems highly unlikely. The 54-year-old is currently involved in daily planning discussions with Red Star’s management, including Zvezdan Terzić, Mitar Mrkela, and Marko Marin, as they build a squad to challenge for Champions League qualification next season.
Milojević is under contract with Crvena zvezda until summer 2026, and there is no indication from Belgrade that the club would entertain offers for him, especially after the stability and success he has brought back to the bench.
Still, the interest from the Gulf persists, and with Al Nasr still without a manager, the situation could evolve—though for now, Zvezda seem determined to keep their man.
