Young Serbian international and Inter youth product, Aleksandar Stanković, is ready for his first senior challenge. The Serbian midfielder has left the Nerazzurri and gone on loan to Lucerne.
The youngest son of the famous Serbian footballer and current Spartak Moscow coach, Dejan Stanković, Aleksandar (18), will have the opportunity to showcase his quality over the next year at a club that has been a top contender in Swiss football for years.
Stanković has agreed to a one-year deal with Lucerne, which includes an option for the club to purchase his contract at the end of the season. Lucerne is a stable member of the Swiss Super League.
Aleksandar Stanković was frequently monitored by Simone Inzaghi, often sitting on the bench for Inter's first team and training with the club's top players. Last season, he made 36 appearances for Inter's youth team, scoring seven goals. His brother, Filip Stanković, is a goalkeeper for Sampdoria.
