Swiss international Ana-Maria Crnogorcevic moves from Atlético Madrid to Seattle Reign in the NWSL, bringing her versatile talent and experience to the team.
Ana-Maria Crnogorcevic (33) has been announced as a marquee signing for Seattle Reign (NWSL), joining from Atlético de Madrid. The Swiss international, who made a name for herself during her four years at FC Barcelona, has signed a one-season contract with the American club.
The versatile player, who previously played for the Portland Thorns in 2018 and 2019, returns to the NWSL. "She will bring great experience and talent to our club," said Lesle Gallimore, general manager of Seattle Reign FC. "Her ability to play in multiple attacking positions, combined with her football knowledge and insight, makes her a player who can have an immediate positive impact on the group."
"We are excited to add another proven attacker to our team," said Reign coach Laura Harvey. "Ana brings extensive international and club experience to our team, including two years in our highly competitive league. She is a dynamic player with proven levels of success, and we are eager to see how that translates here in Seattle."
