Carlo Ancelotti, the head coach of Real Madrid, has addressed the limited playing time for young talents Arda Guler and Endrick, emphasizing that patience is key to their development.
Speaking ahead of Madrid’s Champions League fixture against Atalanta, the Italian manager reassured fans that both players remain integral to the club’s plans.
Ancelotti dismissed speculation about potential moves for the duo in January, stating firmly: "Endrick stays here, just like Guler. They may need more minutes, but I don’t have any prejudices with anyone." He continued, "Sometimes, that might mean playing without Endrick or Guler. We need to be patient with young players. They bring enthusiasm, but because they’re young, they also need to learn some things."
Both players have shown immense promise since joining Real Madrid:
- Arda Guler, often referred to as the 'Turkish Messi,' has impressed for both club and country with his technical brilliance.
- Endrick, already capped for Brazil, has displayed potential that has seen him linked with a loan move, though Ancelotti ruled this out.
Despite their limited roles so far, the duo is widely regarded as key figures in Madrid’s future. Ancelotti’s strategy underlines the club’s long-term vision, ensuring young stars are gradually integrated into the squad.
Guler and Endrick will hope for opportunities in Madrid’s upcoming Champions League match against Atalanta, winners of last season's Europa League. Madrid, already demonstrating strong form this season, will look to maintain momentum while balancing player development.
