Serbian teenage striker Mihajlo Cvetković will officially join Belgian giants Anderlecht at the start of the summer transfer window after a deal was reached with Čukarički.

Mihajlo Cvetković, the highly rated 17-year-old forward from Čukarički, has officially signed with Anderlecht, one of the most storied clubs in Belgian and European football. The deal will become effective on the first day of the Belgian summer transfer window, marking a significant move in the young striker’s budding career.

Born on January 10, 2007, in Niš, Cvetković has spent the last nine years at Čukarički, where he developed through every youth level before breaking into the senior team. He made his first-team debut in September 2023, at the age of just 16, scoring in a 2–2 draw against Železničar Pančevo.

His youth record is nothing short of sensational.

“He had unbelievable numbers in Čukarički's youth system—121 goals in just 68 games,” a club official stated.

Such performances attracted international attention, with several global outlets profiling him even before his 16th birthday. Anderlecht, a club known for developing young talent, will now provide the next platform in his career.

Cvetković joins a club with a rich European pedigree, having previously won the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, and the UEFA Cup. The move to Brussels is seen as a key step for one of Serbia’s most exciting young prospects.
