Slovenian international Andraž Šporar has signed with Turkish club Alanyaspor until 2027, leaving Panathinaikos to join his national teammate Jure Balkovec in the Süper Lig.
Slovenian forward Andraž Šporar has officially signed with Alanyaspor, marking the next chapter in his career after his stint with Panathinaikos. The Turkish Süper Lig club announced the signing today, confirming that Šporar has penned a contract that will keep him at the club until 2027.
Šporar’s move ends his time in Greece, where he was a key figure for Panathinaikos. His departure leaves Adam Gnezda Čerin as the sole Slovenian player at the Athens-based club, following Benjamin Verbič’s exit a few weeks ago.
At Alanyaspor, Šporar will reunite with his Slovenian national teammate Jure Balkovec, who is already part of the squad. The club currently sits 10th in the Süper Lig standings, and Šporar’s arrival is expected to bolster their attacking options as they aim to climb the table.
