The Kvaratskhelia name is once again making headlines.
After Khvicha Kvaratskhelia established himself as one of Europe’s most exciting attackers, his younger brother Tornike Kvaratskhelia is now emerging as a talent to watch.
The 16-year-old, born in February 2010, plays as a left winger and is currently developing at the Inter Academy Georgia in Tbilisi, a project run under the guidance of Inter Milan.
The academy is known for its structured approach and strong development system, making it one of the most respected football schools in the region.
Tornike recently went viral after scoring a spectacular solo goal for the Georgia under-16 team.
His performance immediately drew comparisons to his older brother.
The similarities are clear.
He wears the number 7 shirt, plays in the same position, and combines speed, dribbling, and close control in a way that mirrors Khvicha’s style.
Yet Tornike brings something extra.
He is comfortable with both feet, which allows him to attack from multiple angles and makes him harder to predict for defenders.
His progress is already visible at the international level.
He has featured for the Georgia under-17 national team and took part in European Championship qualifiers, gaining valuable experience at a young age.
Football runs deep in the family.
His father, Badri Kvaratskhelia, was also a professional player, giving Tornike a strong foundation and understanding of the game from an early age.
The role of Inter’s academy is equally important.
