Napoli’s Antonio Conte confirms Khvicha Kvaratskhelia wants to leave the club immediately, with PSG reportedly making a bid for the €85 million-rated star.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the Georgian star and one of the brightest talents in Serie A, has informed Napoli that he wants to leave the club immediately. Despite Napoli’s year-long efforts to secure the 23-year-old on a long-term contract and present him with an ambitious sporting project, their attempts have been unsuccessful.
The news aligns with recent reports that Paris Saint-Germain has already submitted a concrete offer for the player, whose current market value is estimated at €85 million.
"Kvaratskhelia told us he wants to leave. I’ve spoken with him, and I can confirm that he wishes to leave the club immediately. I tried to convince him to stay, but he has made up his mind. Now, the club and his agent will work together to find a suitable solution. I don’t want to keep Khvicha if he doesn’t want to stay," Napoli coach Antonio Conte said.
Kvaratskhelia has been a standout performer in Serie A over the past few seasons, becoming one of the league’s most valuable and sought-after players. If the transfer materializes, it will mark the end of an era for Napoli and a significant addition to PSG’s already star-studded squad.
