Several clubs, including Real Betis and Olympiacos, are reportedly vying for his signature.
Antony’s anticipated departure highlights the significant financial hit United is poised to take. Signed from Ajax for a staggering €95 million, Antony could now leave for as little as €20 million, reflecting a €75 million loss for the English club. This valuation mirrors his worth when he played for São Paulo five years ago, as per Transfermarkt.
Betis and Olympiacos are at the forefront of discussions, with options ranging from a straight transfer to a loan deal with a purchase clause set at approximately €20 million. However, Antony reportedly harbors doubts about playing in Greece, which could tilt the race in favor of Betis or other interested clubs.
United is said to prefer a permanent sale in January to free up funds for incoming transfers. Beyond Betis and Olympiacos, there are reportedly 10 other clubs monitoring Antony’s situation.
