Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa accused someone inside the dressing room of betraying the club after a series of internal conflicts leaked publicly.
Real Madrid head coach Alvaro Arbeloa admitted he feels deeply hurt by the chaos surrounding the club ahead of El Clasico.
The former Madrid defender faced the media while the Spanish giants continue dealing with internal conflicts, dressing room tension and constant leaks to the press.
Arbeloa strongly criticized the person responsible for sharing private information from inside the squad.
"What happens between members of the dressing room should remain private and that's what hurts me the most about it all."
"Someone shared the information with the public and I think that with his move he betrayed our club and showed disrespect for the crest."
The coach also surprised journalists with an unusual anecdote from his own playing career.
"I once had a teammate hit another with a golf club."
Even so, Arbeloa made clear that the current situation at Real Madrid has gone too far.
The club is experiencing one of its most chaotic periods in recent years.
In recent days, Spanish media reported physical confrontations involving Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni, while Antonio Rudiger and Miguel Carreras were also allegedly involved in heated clashes.
At the same time, online campaigns demanding the departure of Kylian Mbappe continue spreading rapidly across social media.
Questions also remain over the future of Vinicius Junior, who continues to be linked with possible interest from the Premier League.
Meanwhile, reports connecting controversial coach Jose Mourinho with a possible return to Madrid have only added more pressure around the club.
All of this arrives just before one of the biggest matches of the season.
Barcelona can officially secure the La Liga title with victory against Real Madrid at Camp Nou.
The atmosphere around the latest edition of El Clasico now feels more explosive than ever.
