Arsenal have introduced a dating show for single fans called 'The Big Match', offering blind date experiences at Emirates Stadium on matchdays.
Arsenal have surprised fans with the launch of a new and unusual initiative: a dating show titled ‘The Big Match’, designed to connect single Gunners supporters through a shared passion for football.
Without much public promotion, the club quietly uploaded an application form to its official website, inviting UK-based singles aged 18 and over to take part in a blind date experience that revolves around watching an Arsenal match at the Emirates Stadium.
"Matchdays at Emirates Stadium are a time to connect with the beautiful game – and each other," the club’s website states. "We’re launching a new dating show that celebrates how a shared love of football can prove a catalyst for an even deeper romance."
Applicants are promised a unique experience, with the show being produced discreetly under the working title 'The Big Match'. Though not yet widely publicised via Arsenal’s main media channels, the opportunity is available through Google search and directly on the club's site via a hidden link. The deadline for applications is April 11 at 11:59pm (UK time).
Interestingly, the announcement has not been posted on Arsenal’s official X (formerly Twitter) or Instagram accounts, nor does it appear in the club's primary newsfeed. This low-key rollout suggests the show may initially be a trial run, but it could evolve depending on its success and fan response.
As Arsenal prepare to host Fulham next Tuesday evening in the Premier League, supporters might now have more than just football to look forward to at the Emirates – perhaps even a chance at romance.
