Despite generating record income, the London club posted a €21.4 million loss for the 2023/2024 season.
Arsenal has released its financial report for the 2023/2024 season, revealing a mix of record-breaking revenue and a substantial financial loss. Despite earning €745 million—a notable increase from the previous season’s €564 million—the club still reported a €21.4 million loss.
The club’s return to the UEFA Champions League significantly boosted its income, with broadcasting revenue alone rising by €86 million thanks to participation in Europe’s elite competition. However, the club’s wage bill increased from €284 million to €396 million, largely offsetting the additional revenue and contributing to the reported loss.
While the financial figures highlight Arsenal’s growing commercial and matchday revenue streams, the rising player salaries and staff expenses remain a financial challenge for the club.
