Arsenal are planning a summer rebuild and have shown interest in Kingsley Coman as they aim to finally capture the Premier League title.
Arsenal are once again preparing to challenge for the Premier League title, and this summer’s transfer window could bring major reinforcements to Mikel Arteta’s squad.
After falling short behind Manchester City last season and Liverpool this year, Arsenal are determined to make the final step toward domestic glory in 2024/25. According to reports, one of the main targets will be a left winger.
While the club also remains in pursuit of a new striker — with names like Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Šeško frequently linked — German outlet Sky claims that Arsenal have now turned their attention to Kingsley Coman of Bayern Munich.
The 27-year-old French international, who has a contract with Bayern until 2027, is reportedly open to a change of scenery after several years in Germany. Despite his experience and technical quality, Coman has managed just six goals and four assists across 35 appearances this season — a modest return for a player of his profile.
New Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berti is said to be a major admirer of Coman’s qualities. However, the Gunners may face competition from Tottenham Hotspur, who are also believed to be interested in the Bayern winger.
Should Arsenal successfully land a top winger and a reliable centre-forward this summer, Arteta's team may finally have the firepower needed to win their first Premier League title since 2004.
