Beşiktaş has reached an agreement with Arsenal to sign Leandro Trossard, with only personal terms remaining before the Belgian completes his move to Turkey.

Leandro Trossard is on the verge of leaving Arsenal after Beşiktaş reached an agreement with the Premier League champions over the transfer of the Belgian international.
According to The Athletic, the Turkish club will pay an initial fee of £15.4 million, with a further £1.7 million in performance-related bonuses, taking the total value of the deal to £17.1 million.
The transfer has not yet been completed, with personal terms between Trossard and Beşiktaş still being finalized.
Arsenal cash in with one year remaining
Trossard has only one year left on his Arsenal contract, making this summer the club's final opportunity to secure a significant transfer fee.
Arsenal signed the Belgian from Brighton in January 2023 for an initial £20 million, with the total package potentially rising to £27 million through bonuses.
Although the reported fee is lower than Arsenal's original investment, the club will still receive a substantial return for a player entering the final year of his contract.
A reliable performer for club and country
The 31-year-old is currently representing Belgium at the 2026 World Cup, where he helped his country complete a remarkable comeback against Senegal in the Round of 32.
Belgium recovered from a two-goal deficit before winning 3-2 after extra time, setting up a Round of 16 meeting with hosts the United States.
Trossard also played an important role in Arsenal's Premier League title-winning campaign, earning a reputation for delivering decisive goals in key moments. His late winner against West Ham proved one of the defining moments of the Gunners' successful season.
His best goalscoring campaign came during the 2023/24 season, when he found the net 16 times across the Premier League and UEFA Champions League.
New challenge in Turkey
If the remaining details are completed, Trossard will join a Beşiktaş side looking to challenge for domestic honours after finishing fourth in the Turkish Süper Lig last season.
The Istanbul club will begin the new campaign under head coach Vincenzo Italiano, who took charge after a turbulent season that saw Ole Gunnar Solskjær and Sergen Yalçın both occupy the dugout.
