Arsenal have already earned more than £120 million from their run to the 2026 Champions League final and could collect even more with a historic triumph.

Arsenal have secured one of the biggest financial rewards in the club’s history after reaching the 2026 Champions League final.

Mikel Arteta’s side booked their place in the final in Budapest after defeating Atletico Madrid 2-1 on aggregate, completing the job with a 1-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium.

Beyond the sporting achievement, the European campaign has also delivered an enormous financial boost.

According to available estimates, Arsenal have already earned more than €142 million (£122m/$167m) in prize money during this season’s competition.

The total represents one of the most profitable campaigns in European football this year and highlights the club’s consistency throughout both the league phase and knockout rounds.

The financial rewards began with a participation payment of €18.62 million simply for entering the league phase of the tournament.

Strong performances during the opening stage and qualification for the knockout rounds then added approximately €40.6 million in performance-related bonuses.

That figure includes around £9.5 million awarded for progressing through the first stage of the competition.

Arsenal also benefited heavily from UEFA’s so-called “value pillar” payments.

According to financial estimates from Swiss Ramble, the club generated around €37 million through media market value distributions and UEFA coefficient rankings based on European performances over recent years.

The deeper Arsenal progressed in the tournament, the greater the financial rewards became.

The club received:

€12.5 million for reaching the quarter-finals
€15 million for reaching the semi-finals
€18.5 million for qualifying for the final

The massive income now gives Arteta and the club significant flexibility ahead of the summer transfer window.

Arsenal are expected to strengthen aggressively as they aim to remain among Europe’s elite.

If the London club defeat either Bayern Munich or PSG in the final, they will secure another €10.5 million in additional rewards.

That package includes a €6.5 million Champions League winner’s bonus and an automatic €4 million payment for qualifying for the 2026 UEFA Super Cup.

The winner of the Super Cup would then receive another €1 million.

For Arsenal, the campaign has already become historic on the pitch and financially transformative away from it.
