In an exhilarating derby match between Rapid and Craiova, Borisav Burmaz, the recent transfer from Voždovac to the Romanian capital's club, couldn't have dreamt of a more spectacular start with Rapid. The former Red Star Belgrade youth player instantly became a fan favorite after a single successful performance, scoring the winning goal in stoppage time to secure a 4-3 victory.
Craiova, who had a two-goal lead at one point (1-3), succumbed in a fiery finale, conceding three goals in just 18 minutes.
With this victory, Rapid solidified their position in third place, aiming to secure a spot in the Conference League qualifiers by the season's end.
