Barcelona will go all-in for Liverpool’s Luis Diaz this summer, making the Colombian winger their top priority after cooling interest in Nico Williams.
Barcelona have made Luis Diaz their top transfer target this summer, according to reports from the Catalan media. The club is preparing an ‘all or nothing’ approach to sign the Liverpool and Colombia winger.
After narrowing down their summer wishlist, Barcelona have turned their attention away from Nico Williams of Athletic Bilbao, whose €58 million release clause was seen as too high given current priorities. Meanwhile, they are expected to seal a €25 million deal for Joan Garcia by triggering his release clause.
The Blaugrana are now focusing all efforts on Diaz, who has emerged as the club’s clear attacking priority. While Liverpool are reluctant to sell, the financial strain of their own expensive summer plans—especially the pursuit of Florian Wirtz for over €100 million—may force their hand.
Al Hilal have also shown interest in Diaz, but Barcelona are determined to fight for his signature, sensing an opportunity if Liverpool need to raise funds.
