According to German Sky, Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen have reached an agreement for the transfer of a player who was a crucial part of the best German team last season.

After such an outstanding season and knowing the Bundesliga tradition, it was almost naive to expect that Bayern Munich wouldn't extend their long reach towards one of the players from the team that spectacularly won the double crown.

Although it seems unlikely that Bayern will manage to bring Bayer's big jewel Florian Wirtz to Munich, it appears that central defender Jonathan Tah is on his way to Bayern. Reportedly, Tah has already agreed on personal terms with Bayern.

Tah is expected to sign a contract with Munich until 2029, with the toughest part of the deal still open - agreeing on the transfer fee.

Sky claims that this should not pose too much of a problem and that Tah will become a member of Germany's biggest club for approximately 40 million euros.

Bayern has been searching for a new central defender for some time now, and talented Chelsea defender Levi Colwill was also on their wishlist, but many British media have dismissed this rumor as unlikely.
