After 17 seasons, 756 matches, and 34 trophies, Bayern Munich legend Thomas Müller has played his final game for the club, closing a historic chapter in modern football.

Thomas Müller has officially ended his remarkable career at Bayern Munich, bringing down the curtain after an incredible 756 appearances and 17 seasons with the Bavarian giants.

The 35-year-old icon said goodbye to fans following Bayern's Club World Cup exit in the quarter-finals in the USA, marking his final appearance in the famous red shirt. Though the Bundesliga season had already concluded, the global tournament offered one last stage for Müller to represent the only club he has ever known.

Müller’s farewell was emotional and heartfelt, as fans, teammates, and club staff paid tribute to a player who embodied the very identity of Bayern in the modern era. He leaves the club with a stunning haul of 34 trophies, including two Champions League titles, 11 Bundesliga titles, and the 2014 World Cup with Germany.

Having made his Bundesliga debut in 2007, Müller quickly became a fixture in Bayern’s golden era, known for his intelligence, selflessness, and unique playing style. From his famous “Raumdeuter” role to his leadership off the pitch, Müller has been a constant through managerial changes and title runs.

While offers are already flooding in for the veteran, it remains unclear whether Müller will continue playing elsewhere. He has long been considered a one-club man, and many expect him to transition into a front office role at Bayern in the near future.

For now, Müller is expected to take a well-earned break before deciding on his next move—whether it's coaching, punditry, or stepping into Bayern’s boardroom.

As he left the pitch for the last time in Bayern colours, the message on everyone’s lips was clear: Danke, Thomas. Und auf Wiedersehen.
