Bayern Munich are reportedly losing the battle to sign Bradley Barcola, making it even less likely they would consider selling Michael Olise to Real Madrid.

Real Madrid's hopes of signing Michael Olise appear to have suffered another major setback.
While the Spanish giants continue to wait for Vinicius Junior to make a final decision on his future, developments elsewhere in the transfer market are strengthening Bayern Munich's determination to keep the French winger.
Vinicius remains the key
Everything still depends on Vinicius.
Real Madrid have reportedly issued the Brazilian star with an ultimatum to either sign a new contract or clarify his intentions, with Arsenal continuing to monitor the situation closely.
If Vinicius leaves the Santiago Bernabéu, Real will immediately enter the market for a world-class replacement.
One of the club's preferred options is believed to be Michael Olise, but Bayern have repeatedly insisted the France international is not for sale.
Bayern cannot afford to lose Olise
There is another reason why Bayern are expected to reject any approach from Madrid.
The Bundesliga champions are reportedly falling behind in the race to sign Bradley Barcola, the player they had identified as a long-term alternative to Olise.
According to reports, Barcola now favours a move to Liverpool, where he believes he would become a central figure in the team's future.
Liverpool pushing hard
Liverpool are said to have already submitted an offer worth around €100 million for the Paris Saint-Germain winger.
However, PSG are reportedly demanding closer to €150 million, meaning negotiations remain ongoing.
Both clubs are expected to continue discussions in an attempt to bridge the significant gap in valuation.
Real forced to look elsewhere?
If Bayern fail to sign Barcola, the chances of them allowing Olise to leave this summer become even smaller.
That would force Real Madrid to consider alternative targets should Vinicius ultimately depart.
For now, every major transfer in this chain continues to depend on the Brazilian international's next decision.
