Kim Min-jae is under pressure at Bayern after multiple errors, and the club is reportedly open to offers for the Korean defender this summer.
Kim Min-jae joined Bayern Munich with high expectations after excelling at Napoli, but the Korean international is now under growing scrutiny following a string of poor performances.
According to Sky Germany, Bayern’s management is willing to consider offers for the 27-year-old centre-back, who has struggled to find consistency since arriving in the Bundesliga.
Kim came under fire after a particularly poor display in the recent Der Klassiker clash against Borussia Dortmund. Bayern sporting director Max Eberl even publicly criticized him, highlighting the need for stronger defensive performances at the club.
Statistically, Kim has made more mistakes leading to goals than any other Bundesliga defender this season — with four errors directly resulting in opposition goals.
Despite being under contract until 2028, Bayern are reportedly not ruling out his departure. “If a satisfactory offer arrives, the club would consider letting him go,” Sky reports.
The Bavarians are already eyeing potential replacements, with Dean Huijsen – the 19-year-old Spanish talent currently on loan at Bournemouth – among the options being discussed. Huijsen has also drawn interest from Real Madrid.
Bayern's backline has lacked its usual solidity this season, and Kim’s form is adding to growing concerns as the club prepares for a critical summer rebuild.
