Jude Bellingham attended Real Madrid’s victory from the stands with Ashlyn Castro while recovering from injury and trying to be ready for England before the World Cup.

Jude Bellingham spent Valentine’s Day at the Santiago Bernabeu, watching Real Madrid beat Real Sociedad 4-1 from the VIP section alongside girlfriend Ashlyn Castro.

The midfielder is currently sidelined after a hamstring injury suffered against Rayo Vallecano. Doctors expect a recovery of six to eight weeks.

Madrid still delivered a convincing win. Gonzalo Garcia opened the scoring, Mikel Oyarzabal equalised from the penalty spot, before Vinicius Junior and Federico Valverde secured victory. Vinicius later added his second goal.

The result extended Madrid’s league winning streak to eight matches and moved them ahead of Barcelona in the table.

Bellingham now faces a race to return in time for England friendlies before the World Cup.

“I’m optimistic but not sure,” said coach Thomas Tuchel about his recovery.

The 22-year-old has scored 44 goals in 128 appearances since joining Madrid in 2023 but has started only 15 league matches this season after earlier shoulder surgery.

Madrid must face Benfica, Osasuna and several key fixtures before the international break, meaning the team will manage without one of its most influential players.
