Rising star Benjamin Šeško becomes Slovenia's top-valued footballer on transfermarkt.de, overtaking seasoned goalkeeper Jan Oblak with a market value of €40 million.

Transfermarkt.de has updated the market value of Slovenia's premier striker, Benjamin Šeško, elevating his worth by €10 million to reach a valuation of €40 million. This adjustment has positioned the Leipzig player as the most expensive Slovenian footballer currently, surpassing Jan Oblak, who, at 31, is valued at €30 million.

Following behind Oblak, Udinese defender Jaka Bijol, who recently had a standout performance against Cristiano Ronaldo, is third in the rankings with a valuation of €10 million. Speculations suggest Bijol might move to a bigger club this summer for a higher fee. Sandi Lovrić, with a market value of €9 million, and Andraž Šporar, valued at €5 million, round out the top five Slovenian players in terms of market value.

It's worth noting that transfermarkt.de updates player valuations at different times across various leagues, indicating that adjustments to the values of other players, such as Žan Celar and Adam Gnezda Čerin, may be anticipated in the coming months.
