Birmingham City revealed fresh designs for their ambitious £3 billion stadium project, including luxury hospitality areas, restaurants and a 62,000-seat arena.

Birmingham City have revealed stunning new images of their ambitious £3 billion stadium project, giving supporters a closer look at the club’s futuristic new home.

The Championship side, backed by NFL legend Tom Brady, first unveiled plans for the enormous redevelopment project last year as part of a wider transformation of the city.

The centerpiece is a spectacular new 62,000-seat stadium, expected to cost around £1.2 billion alone and scheduled to open by 2029.

The futuristic design includes 12 giant chimneys, inspired by Birmingham’s industrial heritage, and forms part of a wider sports and entertainment district valued at around £2.5 billion.

The latest images offer fans a detailed look inside the proposed venue.

One rendering shows the massive stadium dominating the Birmingham skyline near the future HS2 railway line, while another highlights the huge east entrance filled with supporters arriving on matchday.

The club also shared images of players arriving by team coach to crowds of fans gathered outside the stadium.

Inside, supporters would have access to premium hospitality experiences, including a luxury restaurant overlooking the city skyline.

Other concept images revealed a huge atrium-style concourse beneath towering pillars, modern hospitality suites and an exclusive “tunnel club” area close to the dressing rooms.

Birmingham also promised an intense matchday atmosphere, especially from a redesigned south stand positioned close to the pitch.

The club made a huge statement when the project was first announced last year.

Former Birmingham wonderkid Jude Bellingham returned to view the plans and famously reacted by mouthing "Wow" in front of club officials, supporters and local dignitaries.

Club owner Tom Wagner described the project as a turning point both for the club and the wider region.

"This is a huge milestone for Birmingham City, creating a home for the club that reflects our ambition to compete at the highest level."

"More than that, the iconic design is a statement of intent for the City of Birmingham and the West Midlands, a testament to a region that is on the rise."

"The stadium draws upon the proud heritage of the West Midlands, a heritage of industry, ingenuity and growth."

The project represents one of the most ambitious stadium developments currently planned in European football.
