Real Madrid are prepared to listen to offers for Rodrygo in January, with Premier League clubs showing strong interest in the Brazilian forward.
Real Madrid are edging closer to a major winter shake-up, with Rodrygo now firmly on the transfer list. According to Spanish journalist Mario Cortegana, the Brazilian forward is no longer considered untouchable and the club are ready to listen to offers as early as January.
The turning point came after an alarming run of 30 matches without a goal, a drought that has drawn comparisons to the unwanted record of Mariano Díaz. Rodrygo’s market value has dropped significantly over the past year, prompting the club to react while they can still command a sizeable fee — currently estimated at around €80 million.
Interest is strongest from the Premier League, where several clubs have been monitoring his situation closely.
Rodrygo arrived at the Bernabéu in 2019, scoring 68 goals and adding 53 assists across 285 appearances. He has delivered decisive moments, especially in the Champions League, but has never reached the level of his compatriot Vinicius Junior. Over the last year his form has collapsed, and Real no longer see a compelling reason to keep him in the squad.
Cortegana also reports that Dani Ceballos and Fran García could follow him out of the club in January, as Real seek a mid-season reset before a more significant rebuild next summer. The plan for 2026 includes signing one centre-back and at least two midfielders to reinforce the squad.
Rodrygo now looks closer than ever to an exit — and the winter window may finally bring his five-year Madrid chapter to an end.
