Following Borussia Dortmund's dramatic turnaround against Atletico Madrid and their subsequent qualification for the Champions League semi-finals, Edin Terzić has been confirmed to continue as the head coach, ending speculation about his future at the club.

Amidst a challenging season that had sparked widespread speculation about his future, Edin Terzić has managed to secure his job as the head coach of Borussia Dortmund. The German media, including Ruhr Nachrichten—a newspaper closely covering the club's daily activities—reports that the search for a new coach has been concluded with the club's management affirming their trust in Terzić.

This season, Dortmund faced numerous difficulties, leading to persistent rumors that the club was looking for a new coach for the next season, with names like Julian Nagelsmann and Erik ten Hag being floated as potential candidates. However, Dortmund's impressive performance in the Champions League, particularly their victory over Atletico Madrid to reach the semi-finals, has put those concerns to rest.

Currently fifth in the Bundesliga, Dortmund's position for next season's Champions League participation appears secure, especially with the possibility of Germany gaining an additional spot in the competition. With over €100 million earned from this season’s Champions League, the financial and sporting success has evidently contributed to the decision to extend Terzić’s tenure despite the domestic struggles.
