Haris Tabaković, currently shining in Germany with Hertha Berlin, is priced at 30 million euros amid interest from top clubs. The striker's remarkable form has made him a crucial asset for Hertha, as outlined by coach Pal Dardai.
Haris Tabaković, the new sensation for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team and star player for Hertha Berlin, is in the form of his life since arriving in Germany. The phenomenal progress of his career has put him in a position where he could choose a more established club, but any potential transfer comes with a hefty price tag.
Hertha's coach, Pal Dardai, has reportedly set the asking price for Tabaković at a substantial 30 million euros. This price may deter some clubs from pursuing the 29-year-old striker despite his impressive form. "We are trying to keep everyone here. That would be the next step forward for Hertha after a chaotic start and three months of uncertainty last summer," Dardai stated. The club's job is to ensure the team stays together and then to bring in three or four specialists needed for this league.
Dardai spoke about Tabaković, highlighting his value and importance to the club. "If someone comes and offers 30 million euros for Haris, then we have to talk. I think he does not intend to leave, but ultimately, money plays a role. Haris is an essential part of this team, and currently, everyone wants to stay. However, there could be surprises during the summer," added Dardai, as reported by the respected sports magazine Kicker.
Hertha acquired Tabaković for a mere 500,000 euros last season from Austria Vienna, and a multi-million euro sale would be a significant coup for the club.
Tabaković has scored 21 goals this season for Hertha, making him the top scorer in the 2. Bundesliga. Despite his outstanding club form, he did not play in the latest national team match under coach Sava Milošević, even when Bosnia and Herzegovina needed a goal during the playoff against Ukraine.
