Esmir Bajraktarević has attracted Bournemouth’s interest after strong performances for Bosnia and Herzegovina, with his future tied to Liverpool’s pursuit of Antoine Semenyo.x
Esmir Bajraktarević (20) delivered a standout finish to the World Cup qualifying campaign, earning widespread praise for his performances with the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The PSV winger scored a brilliant goal in the 3–1 win against Romania, and also impressed in Vienna against Austria (1–1), a match in which Bosnia and Herzegovina ultimately fell short in their attempt to reach the World Cup.
According to Sportsport.ba, Bajraktarević’s recent form has attracted serious interest from Bournemouth. The Premier League side could lose forward Antoine Semenyo, who is close to completing a transfer to Liverpool.
If the Ghanaian completes his move to Anfield, Bournemouth are expected to turn towards Bajraktarević. Although his Transfermarkt valuation stands at €3 million, PSV would almost certainly demand a considerably higher offer.
Born in the United States, Bajraktarević joined PSV last winter from New England Revolution for €2 million. So far, he has made 16 appearances, scoring two goals and providing one assist for the Dutch champions.
