The latest example is Antoine Semenyo. The Ghana international left Bournemouth in January to join Manchester City, where Pep Guardiola quickly integrated him into the attack.
Semenyo delivered six goals and two assists in his first eleven appearances for City. His pace and direct style added a new dimension to Guardiola’s rotation.

This campaign has swung sharply. A strong opening phase, a deep slump, then a late surge toward the finish line. Now they sit ninth, outperforming early survival predictions.
Brentford follow a similar path. After selling key players in recent windows, they were tipped for relegation battles. Instead, they occupy seventh place and continue to exceed expectations.
The next round brings a direct clash. Bournemouth host Brentford in a meeting of two clubs who build smartly, sell bravely and compete without fear.
