Galatasaray will meet Hakan Calhanoglu’s camp to discuss a move. Inter demand €35–40 million and face competition from Saudi clubs.
Hakan Calhanoglu could be heading for a return to Istanbul, with Galatasaray stepping up efforts to sign the Inter Milan midfielder. According to Sky Germany, the Turkish champions are set to meet the player’s representatives soon to assess the chances of completing a high-profile transfer.
Calhanoglu, 31, has previously admitted he is a lifelong Galatasaray fan, which could help negotiations. However, Inter are not prepared to let him go cheaply and will only entertain offers in the region of €35–40 million, matching his strong form and market value.
So far, Galatasaray have not submitted a formal bid but are reportedly ready to stretch their budget to beat rivals, including Saudi Arabian clubs, who are also monitoring the player’s situation.
The Turkey international comes off an impressive season, scoring 11 goals and providing 8 assists in 47 appearances, cementing his status as a key figure for Inter. His contract runs until summer 2027, giving the Italian side leverage in talks.
