Real Madrid has won the Champions League for the 15th time in their history. In the final played at Wembley Stadium in London in front of 86,000 spectators, they triumphed against Borussia Dortmund 2-0.
The goals for the Royal Club were scored by Dani Carvajal in the 74th minute and Vinicius Junior in the 83rd minute. The captain of the Croatian national team, Luka Modrić, entered the game in the 85th minute and secured his sixth Champions League title.
Fans Invaded the Pitch and Interrupted the Match
The Champions League final was interrupted in the first minute as three fans, likely supporting Real, ran onto the pitch. This led to a chase by the security guards, and the interruption lasted less than two minutes. One fan took out his phone and snapped a "selfie" with Jude Bellingham.. It remains to be seen how much that memory will cost him.
