Estêvão leaves in tears after injury in Chelsea's loss to Manchester United, with Enzo Fernández also a doubt ahead of the next match.
Chelsea were dealt a major blow during their 1-0 defeat to Manchester United, with Estêvão forced off early and left in tears.
The Brazilian forward lasted only 16 minutes before suffering a hamstring injury, picked up while running through on goal in a one-on-one situation.
Alejandro Garnacho came on as his replacement, but the damage was already done.
Speaking after the match, head coach Liam Rosenior revealed the emotional impact of the setback.
"He was crying at half time; it was really devastating for him," Rosenior said.
"It looks like it's his hamstring. It happened in a moment when he was running through on goal. I hope he comes back sooner rather than later."
The night worsened for Chelsea as Matheus Cunha scored the only goal before the break, securing a vital win for Manchester United in the race for Champions League qualification.
Injury concerns continued late in the match. Enzo Fernández was also forced off after feeling discomfort, raising further doubts ahead of the next fixture.
"I saw him in the dressing room. I think it was his calf. I hope it's cramp," Rosenior said.
"He ran himself into the ground tonight. We need him fit for the next game."
The situation adds more pressure on Chelsea, who are already struggling for consistency and now face key matches with potential absences in crucial positions.
