Banned Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk continues to exchange flirty messages with American actress Jordyn Jones on Instagram, sparking speculation off the pitch while he remains sidelined.
Mykhailo Mudryk remains suspended from football, but the Chelsea winger continues to draw attention away from the pitch after a series of public interactions with American actress and model Jordyn Jones.
The 25-year-old has not played for more than a year after being charged over an alleged failed drugs test. While his future in football remains uncertain, his activity on social media has not gone unnoticed.
Mudryk first commented on one of Jones’ videos in September 2025, asking: “Guys, should I try?” His online pursuit appeared to progress soon after.
Jones later shared content from Paris, shortly after Mudryk invited her to Disneyland, prompting speculation that the pair met during her visit to France.
The interactions continued in recent weeks. On a post showing Jones walking with a bouquet of roses in Oxfordshire, Mudryk replied: “Flowers suit you.”
Jones responded publicly: “Why thank you darling.”
Mudryk has repeatedly commented on Jones’ posts, calling her “the cutest”, posting rose and heart emojis, and writing messages such as: “Save your tears for another day.”
Jones, who has more than nine million followers on Instagram, has also posted photos wearing a Chelsea scarf and follows Mudryk on the platform, further fuelling interest among fans.
The Michigan-born actress rose to fame as a child dancer and appeared on the Disney Channel series Shake It Up. She now works mainly in modelling and social media.
Meanwhile, Mudryk continues to await the outcome of his case. After charges were confirmed by the FA in June, he issued a statement denying any wrongdoing.
“This has come as a complete shock as I have never knowingly used any banned substances or broken any rules,” Mudryk said. “I remain hopeful that I will be back on the pitch soon.”
The £62 million signing from January 2023 has made 73 appearances for Chelsea. Despite inconsistent form, he impressed in the Conference League last season, contributing goals and assists before his suspension in December 2024.
New Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior confirmed he has not yet spoken to Mudryk, who is currently banned from training with the squad.
“He’s a magnificent player and has had a difficult time,” Rosenior said. “When the moment is right, we’ll have that conversation.”
For now, Mudryk’s future on the pitch remains unresolved, while his off-field interactions continue to draw attention.
