Coleen and Wayne Rooney have reportedly spent thousands decorating their £20m Cheshire mansion with festive lights so bright they can be seen from aircraft flying over Manchester.
Coleen Rooney and her husband Wayne Rooney have taken Christmas decorating to dazzling new heights — quite literally. The couple’s sprawling £20 million Cheshire mansion has been transformed into a glittering winter wonderland, with festive lights so bright they can reportedly be seen from planes flying over Manchester Airport.
The Rooneys, who have lived in their luxury home for three and a half years, are said to have spent thousands of pounds on professional decorators to achieve the breathtaking display. Their home sits in Cheshire’s Golden Triangle — an area famous for footballers and celebrities — and has now become one of the brightest holiday attractions in the region.
Photos show the roof, porch and gardens draped in thousands of fairy lights, with trees, hedges, and wreaths illuminated in sparkling patterns. The festive glow extends across the property’s expansive grounds, where the family’s four sons — Kai (15), Klay (11), Kit (8), and Cass (6) — can enjoy the display.
Their home boasts an impressive range of features, including a swimming pool, cinema, stables, gym, hot tub, and full-size football pitch. Built by a Cheshire developer for around £4 million, the mansion even includes two lifts, with one leading to a basement spa area complete with a Jacuzzi and wine cellar.
This isn’t the first time the Rooneys have gone all out for the holidays. Last year, Wayne surprised Coleen with a £10,000 light display when she returned from filming I’m A Celebrity, where she earned an estimated £1.5 million — matching the show’s highest-ever fee — following her much-publicised Wagatha Christie legal battle.
Now a successful businesswoman and TV personality, Coleen has shifted her focus toward the health and wellness industry. Earlier this year, she became an ambassador and investor for Applied Nutrition, a fast-growing Liverpool-based supplement company. Her collaboration range, launching in January, is already attracting major attention in the UK fitness market.
