Como have officially signed Italy striker Moise Kean from Fiorentina in a deal worth around €40m, making him Cesc Fabregas' ninth summer reinforcement.

Cesc Fabregas has landed another major signing at Como. On the final day of the transfer window, the new Champions League participants officially confirmed the arrival of Moise Kean from Fiorentina.
The overall value of the operation is expected to reach approximately €40m. The package includes the cost of the loan, transfer compensation, and performance-related bonuses.
Kean leaves Fiorentina after two highly productive seasons. The Florence club signed him from Juventus in the summer of 2024 for around €13m, and the Italian striker significantly increased his value during his time at the club.
Kean returns to the Champions League
The 26-year-old scored 27 goals in 59 Serie A appearances for Fiorentina. His 2024/25 campaign was particularly impressive, with 19 league goals, another five in 11 Conference League appearances and one in the Coppa Italia.
Kean has also transferred that form to the international stage. He has scored 13 goals in 26 appearances for Italy, giving him an impressive average of one goal every two matches for the national team.
His arrival provides Fabregas with a proven goalscorer for Como's first Champions League campaign and represents another sign of the club's growing ambitions.

Kean becomes Como's ninth signing of an extremely active summer transfer window. The club has already added Trevoh Chalobah, Mattia Liberali, Luis Milla, Yan Couto, Samuele Ricci, Andres Cuenca, Kaiki and Willy Kambwala.
Fabregas now has one of the most intriguing squads in Italian football at his disposal. With Kean leading the attack and Champions League football waiting, Como are preparing for what could be the biggest season in the club's history.
