New Juventus director Damien Comolli has officially confirmed that Igor Tudor will lead the team next season, beyond just the Club World Cup campaign.
Juventus have officially confirmed that Igor Tudor will remain as head coach for the upcoming season, ending speculation about the managerial position in Turin.
The announcement came during the first press conference of Damien Comolli, who was introduced as the club’s new sporting director. In his debut address, Comolli paid tribute to the club’s legacy and outlined the immediate direction of the team.
“It is a privilege to be part of one of the biggest clubs in the world,” Comolli said. “When I grew up, I followed this club and watched the big names who played for it. I have always admired Juventus.”
He then cleared the air about Juventus’ coaching future: “We will continue with Igor Tudor. Not only for the Club World Cup, he will also be our coach next season.”
Tudor, who took over in the latter stages of the 2024/25 season, guided Juventus through a transitional period. His leadership impressed club officials, and his contract will now be extended into the new campaign as Juventus seek to return to title contention both domestically and in Europe.
This decision signals a vote of confidence in the Croatian tactician, who has previously managed clubs such as Marseille and Verona, and was a former Juventus player himself.
