Antonio Conte could leave Napoli just days after winning the title, with Juventus pushing to bring back the coach who led them to their first three titles in the 2010s.
While Naples is still buzzing from their latest Serie A triumph, the future of Antonio Conte is anything but certain. The man who delivered Napoli’s fourth scudetto may already be thinking about his next move—and it could lead him back to Juventus.
According to multiple Italian outlets, Conte is seriously considering leaving Napoli, and Juventus are ready to bring him home. The coach’s trust in club president Aurelio De Laurentiis reportedly took a hit earlier this season, when Napoli sold Khvicha Kvaratskhelia during the January window without securing a suitable replacement.
Despite that, Conte still led Napoli to the title, proving once again that he thrives under pressure. But with limited support for his vision, and doubts over Napoli’s willingness to reinforce the squad for next season, the relationship between coach and club appears to be on the brink.
In the aftermath of the scudetto, Conte and De Laurentiis retreated to the island of Ischia for private talks—away from the celebrations and noise of Naples. A final decision is expected soon.
And Juventus are waiting.
The Turin giants have now gone five seasons without a Serie A title, a drought far too long for Italy’s most decorated club. It was Conte who reignited their dominance in 2011, delivering the first three titles in what became a nine-year streak.
He is still revered in Turin, and Juventus are reportedly prepared to offer everything Conte needs to bring glory back to the Allianz Stadium. The timing may be perfect: Juventus are planning a squad rebuild, and Conte is a specialist in quick, ruthless transformations.
If the talks on Ischia don’t result in a renewed commitment to Napoli, Conte’s return to Juventus is very much on the table.
