Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly seeking to renew his contract with Al-Nassr, aiming to continue his career and participate in the 2026 World Cup.
Cristiano Ronaldo, whose contract with Al-Nassr is set to expire at the end of this season, is reportedly keen on extending his stay in Saudi Arabia. The Portuguese star, who will turn 40 in February, wants to continue his career with the ultimate goal of playing in the 2026 World Cup with Portugal.
Despite nearing 40, Ronaldo has shown no signs of slowing down. He has scored 70 goals in 77 matches for Al-Nassr and is aiming to reach the 100-goal mark for the Riyadh-based club. With 6 goals in 7 matches this season, Ronaldo remains a key player, and both he and Al-Nassr have started negotiations for a contract renewal.
If Ronaldo competes in the next World Cup, it will mark his sixth appearance on the world stage, an impressive achievement since his debut in the 2006 World Cup in Germany. Additionally, the Portuguese forward is eyeing another significant milestone in his career: reaching 1000 goals as a professional footballer.
