Cristiano Ronaldo is close to his first trophies in Saudi Arabia and is approaching 1000 career goals, with Al Nassr chasing both the league title and an Asian final.
Will Cristiano Ronaldo finally win his first trophies with Al Nassr and reach 1000 career goals in the same year?
The Portuguese superstar is in strong form, and the Saudi Pro League title is now within reach. With only four rounds remaining, Al Nassr need eight points to secure the championship. That number could drop to five if they beat Al Hilal in the upcoming derby.
The road to the title is clear. After a 2-0 win over Al Ahli, Al Nassr now face Al Qadsiah, Al Shabab, Al Hilal, and Damac. The final round is scheduled for May 21.
The double crown is now a real possibility.
Al Nassr have also reached the final of the AFC Champions League 2, the Asian equivalent of the Europa League. In the final on May 16, they will face Japanese side Gamba Osaka.
That means Ronaldo could end the season with two major trophies in Saudi Arabia.
And there is one more milestone in sight.
The 41-year-old striker scored again yesterday and has now reached 970 career goals.
The question is simple.
Can Cristiano Ronaldo reach the magical 1000-goal mark this year?
