Cristiano Ronaldo continues his relentless pursuit of 1000 career goals after delivering another stellar performance in the Asian Champions League, scoring twice in Al Nassr’s dominant 4-0 victory over Al Wasl.
The Portuguese superstar has now reached 923 career goals, proving once again that his hunger for success remains undiminished. His personal target of reaching the four-digit milestone before the end of his illustrious career seems increasingly within reach.
Alongside Ronaldo, Al Fatil and Al Hassan also found the net, helping Al Nassr solidify their position in third place ahead of the final round of the league phase.
Domestically, Al Nassr currently sits third in the Saudi Pro League, trailing Al Hilal and Al Ittihad by eight points. However, the club has strengthened its squad in the winter transfer window, securing the signing of Colombian forward Jhon Duran from Aston Villa.
The 20-year-old striker made his debut in the match, partnering Ronaldo in attack. While he did not get on the scoresheet, his performance earned positive reviews as he looks to establish himself in the squad.
