Cristiano Ronaldo scores twice against Al Khaleej, reaching 919 career goals and taking the lead in the Saudi Pro League top scorer race with 13 goals.
Al Nassr secured a convincing 3-1 victory away against Al Khaleej, with Cristiano Ronaldo once again proving to be the decisive figure by scoring twice and climbing to the top of the league's goal-scoring chart.
The Portuguese superstar opened the scoring with a precise strike from the edge of the penalty area, while his second goal came in routine fashion, slotting the ball into an empty net following a swift counter-attack.
With these two goals, Ronaldo has now amassed 100 goals and assists in 92 appearances for Al Nassr. More significantly, his tally of 13 goals in the current campaign has placed him at the top of the Saudi Pro League's goal-scoring leaderboard, ahead of Aleksandar Mitrović of Al Hilal by one goal and Karim Benzema of Al Ittihad by two.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is edging closer to an astonishing milestone, having now scored 919 career goals, leaving him 81 goals away from reaching the incredible 1,000-goal mark, a feat that would further cement his legacy as one of the greatest goal scorers in football history.
