Cristiano Ronaldo is back in the Al Nassr squad after missing three matches and could play against Al Fateh in the Saudi Pro League.
Cristiano Ronaldo is set to return for Al Nassr after missing three matches following frustration during the January transfer period.
The Portuguese forward last played on 30 January, scoring in a win over Al Kholood. Since then, the team won three matches without conceding a goal.
Reports stated Ronaldo was unhappy with transfer decisions linked to the Public Investment Fund, particularly after Karim Benzema moved to league leaders Al Hilal.
He has now resumed full training and is expected to be available for the league match against Al Fateh.
The striker rejoins a squad including Sadio Mane, Joao Felix and Kingsley Coman as his absence ends.
Former teammate Toni Kroos defended Ronaldo’s importance to the competition.
"If Cristiano leaves tomorrow, the league loses its charm," Kroos said.
The Saudi Pro League responded that clubs make their own sporting decisions and no individual determines league policy.
Ronaldo has scored 17 league goals this season, trailing only Ivan Toney and Julian Quinones in the scoring charts.
