Jhon Duran has officially become the most valuable player in the Saudi Pro League following his €83 million transfer from Aston Villa to Al Nassr.
The 21-year-old Colombian striker now holds the highest market value in the league, surpassing all other players.
His move also marked a historic moment for MLS, as a portion of the transfer fee went to Chicago Fire due to sell-on clauses. Duran originally moved from Chicago to Aston Villa for a total of €29.5 million, making him the most expensive player in MLS history.
While Cristiano Ronaldo remains the highest-paid player in Saudi Arabia, Duran now tops the market value rankings.
