Cristiano Ronaldo is launching an elite private members club in Madrid’s Golden Mile, offering total privacy, fine dining, and luxury experiences — with memberships costing up to €15,000.
Cristiano Ronaldo is preparing for life after football with another ambitious business move — a luxury private members club set to open in Madrid later this year. The Al-Nassr star, now 40, has partnered with entrepreneur Íñigo Onieva and Mabel Hospitality to create Vega Private Members Club, a space promising complete discretion and exclusivity.
Located at 88 Lagasca Street in the heart of the city’s Golden Mile, the 1,000-square-metre club will ban mobile phones and photography to ensure privacy for its high-profile members. During the day, Vega will serve as a hub for business meetings, co-working, and private offices, while evenings will transform it into a social hotspot offering exclusive dinners and signature bars.
The concept includes three distinct areas — Casa Vega (a modern bistro), Vega Restaurant, and Toto, an Italian fine-dining venue. Members will also have access to a wine club offering private tastings and curated experiences. The club aims to “redefine socialising and networking in Madrid”, according to Spanish outlet Libertad Digital.
Membership will come at a price. The top-tier Founders’ Membership is strictly by invitation and requires a one-time payment of €15,000, providing lifetime access and bespoke benefits. Standard memberships start at €2,400 per year plus an initial fee of €2,000.
Ronaldo, who already owns CR7 Clothing, CR7 Fitness, and several hospitality ventures, said the project aligns with his long-term plans beyond football. In a recent interview with Piers Morgan, he reflected on nearing retirement: “It will be tough, but I’ve been preparing for this since I was 25. I’ll be ready for that moment.”
He added that post-retirement life will focus more on family, business, and personal passions: “Nothing compares to the adrenaline of scoring a goal, but I want more time with my family, to raise my kids and learn more about my companies.”
Before hanging up his boots, Ronaldo remains determined to lead Al-Nassr to trophies and guide Portugal to a historic World Cup triumph in 2026. But with Vega, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is already showing that his entrepreneurial empire will continue to expand long after his playing days are over.
